This nature photo is
not of the clearest quality, but it is among my favorites.
Both watermelons weighed in a little over 40 pounds
each. Our little dog provided a scale so that
we would remember just how big the watermelons were.
Both were $1 each - an unbelievable buy that we
came across during our travels one late summer day.
And
tasty - oh my! One was the deepest red containing
one of the sweetest hearts we've ever tasted. The
other had yellow meat and was equally sweet.
