This nature photo is of the majestic cottonwood tree.   Although scorned by many individuals for its flying fur during the spring and early summer months, we find the cottonwood tree most worthy - even if it does plug up the old air-conditioner.

During our adventures, we've seen many cottonwood trees providing homes to little nocturnal critters, as well as to many daytime critters.  

Cottonwood trees grow into massive masterpieces of nature - so big that it takes several men to surround the trunk, hand in hand.
