Nature Photo of Okra

About This Nature Photo

One special year our garden performed so well that it was unbelievable. Giant shoots of okra, baskets of red tomatoes, beautiful green beans - so much bounty that we shared all that we could and preserved the rest.

In my experience with okra, I would highly recommend the use of gloves when harvesting - whether the variety is spineless, or not. Doing such can help a body avoid a....sticky situation.
