Photo of an Abandoned Bird Nest
About This Nature Photo
This nature photo was
taken inside a tunnel leading to a thick stretch of
woods. There is a rather sad discovery in the photo
as one of the baby birds is clinging to the right side
of the nest and appeared to have expired a day or so
before Tom and I came across the nest.
The
remainder of the eggs were unhatched leaving us to gather
that the mother was the victim of the torrential storm
that had swept through the area the previous day.
